Josh Leatherman is the Chief Marketing Officer at Cyderes, a private equity– backed global cybersecurity company whose mission is to help its customers Be Everyday Ready™. At Cyderes, he leads global marketing strategy, brand development, go-to-market execution, and sales development, driving growth in one of the fastest-moving and most competitive industries in the world. Josh believes growth is never an accident. It is the result of smart strategy, strong leadership, and teams that refuse to settle for average. Leatherman’s believes deeply that highly engaged teams consistently outperform the rest - a conviction that shapes how he leads, creating cultures where people are invested, accountable, and inspired to deliver their best.
Previously, as Chief Marketing Officer at Service Express, Josh partnered with his executive team to grow the company from $25 million to over $350 million in annual revenue by building high-return go-to-market functions in demand generation, revenue operations, sales development, and sales. During this time, the company completed three very successful private equity exits with Pamlico Capital, Harvest Partners, and Warburg Pincus. The results speak for themselves. Organizations under his leadership have appeared on the Inc. 5000 for 12 consecutive years and been recognized nationally as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For for 13 consecutive years, along with honors such as Comparably’s Best Company Leadership Teams, Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, and numerous other awards.

Outside of work, Josh’s greatest joy is his family. He and his wife, Candice, have been married for more than two decades and have two sons, Xander and Lincoln. Together, they love exploring National Parks, discovering small towns, and off-roading across the United States.
Summers in West Michigan are spent on the lake, where the family enjoys wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Josh also enjoys cycling, bass fishing with his sons and his dad, and cheering at his boys’ sporting events—football, tennis, and volleyball.
A lifelong Michigander, he’s finally living his best life as a proud Detroit Lions fan (God bless Dan Campbell!). The family’s Sheepadoodle, Lulabelle, is a constant companion on their adventures.
